The saddest and most beautiful stand alone piece of art I've ever experienced. Right up there with the suicide scene from The Hours, but even that owes just as much to Philip Glass. I think it's all in the piano for me. It has such a range of emotions, the highs and lows, and the darker parts can be at times be just as loud as the brightest. It's a song I'd be just as happy using for my first dance as I would at my funeral.
