Minimalist post-punk band based in London since 2008 and in hiatus since 2010. Their music is described as “spontaneous, lo-fi & experimental”. The organic instrumentation coupled with edgy lyrics make this band unique & different from anything existing on the current London scene.
Hailing from the dead end suburbs of south London, Lion Club were formed October 2007 in vortex of small-town boredom and mutual disgust for thestate of British music and youth culture. Their hatred of vacuous 24hour party England and the dumb un-politicized breezier swilling life style that surrounded them forged their initial bond.
Dance For Burgess are 2 young visionaries and star-gazers who play capsules of sounds in wooded suburbs. Their goal is to insure a faithful representation of the message of Burgess (...) through a precise artistic dialog.
Wretched Replica were five teenagers from Southend who took lashings of psychedelic noise, drenched it in post punk stylings and topped it off with raucous sax and snarling poetry. This all translated into a vicous and chaotic live show, and after only a handful of gigs they received high profile support slots with the likes of Ladyfuzz, The Suffrajets, Bromheads Jacket and Neils Children.
