There have been more than one band (artist) with this name.

1) In 1980, Mobster released a double A-sided 7” single in the UK on the Ensign label (Simmer Down/Mobster Shuffle).

2) There is now another ska band using this name. They describe themselves thus:

Mobster has dug out golden grains from the Jamaican soil and mixed new with retro. Tropical with European, energy with passion to create the music they love: SKA.
