Biography
“These sounds are not supposed to remind you of ‘music’… hopefully they are reminiscent of things forgotten… or enjoyed… or depressed… or inspired… the score for a film about ‘discovery’ - in the manner your life or moment defines…”

mobdividual is a one-person project started by Brian Elyo. He started playing, writing and recording music around 1998 in Colorado, USA.
Brian spent some time in three proper bands, all of which had a lot of energy and despite a devoted, albeit small, following they never could find their respective legs. Lego Dynasty (‘98-‘99), Hidden City/Green Room (there may have been more names) and The Four-Track Fuckers (which spun-off into The Jim Jims and Happy Ugly Ostrich). The Fuckers, though, were mostly a loose collective of about 5 friends and ‘sometimes’ people that got together from the summer of ‘99 - ‘02. Their sessions were constantly recorded, often without anyone’s knowledge. Their self-released Freaky Meditations/Ola Pakopper had a variety of versions with a variety of songs. The songs were raw, emotional, usually improvisational and made you understand that everyone on the recording was having a good time and wanted you too as well.
Musicians came and went and since 2002 Brian’s been at it alone. He has four self-released albums under the moniker radio.memory.misery.
