As one of the most talented and diverse female Producers in the electronic music scene, Megan is poised to take things to the next level; pushing the limitations of the underground scene where her powerful sets have been a sensation on dancefloors around the globe for the past decade.

With her successful releases: Megasex on Hom-mega, Message In A Bottle, and countless gems set to be released in the near future, her sound is so diverse ranging from Progressive House to Electro to Psychedelic Trance that it never fails to excite and surprise the listener.

Megan is a Canadian music producer, sound engineer, singer, songwriter, DJ and artist who has worked with and learned from some of the biggest names in the business and continues to push open the boundaries between different genres of electronic music.

As a music producer, Megan received her first keyboard from her older brother Simon at the age of 7. It was a Sony mini electronic keyboard that was only 12 inches long. She would take it everywhere and began making her own sequences whenever she could.

When her parents bought a Yamaha Clavinova at the age of 10 Megan began taking piano lessons. After practice she would sit for hours making up sequences and loops with the drum machine, while looking for her favorite sounds in the cool sampler box she found sitting next to the keyboard. Then she discovered the record button and the rest was history…or rather her story.

As a sound engineer Megan has been addicted to the sound of synthesizers since she was born but never understood how they worked until 2005 when Megan attended Columbia Academy for analog and digital sound recording and engineering. It was there that Megan learned the ins and outs of recording and mixing in a real professional studio.

In 2007 Megan moved to Israel to further her studies on electronic music production. She learned how to create her own synthesized sounds as well as learning many tricks of the trade.

As a songwriter and composer, Megan began writing music in 2005 while attending Columbia Academy. Ideas, beats and melodies where always coming to her throughout her life and even in her dreams but being a perfectionist never recorded them until she had acquired more knowledge of music production.

Megan grew up listening to many different genres from Synth Pop, to Hip Hop, but was particularly taken by the classical music of Mozart. When she was 8, she would dress up like Amadeus and play the music really loud and pretend like she was conducting a symphony or opera in her living room.

Megan started singing in choir at the age of 6 and continued her vocal studies right through to high school. Today she practices on her own. She has a 2 octave vocal range.

As a DJ, Megan started mixing in the late 90’s and has since gone on to play in some of the biggest parties and coolest clubs throughout the world, sharing the stage with the scenes top artist and DJs, delivering an amazing set every time.

As an artist, Megan is getting set to take her live show international this summer 2010. Besides the amazing beats and sounds, her beauty, her energy and the way that she connects with her audience and fans is what make her live show so special. Her mission is to connect people through music and the love that it creates, as well as to create feelings and special moments with the listener or the crowd on the dance-floor. Expect big things to come in Megan’s career, as this is only the beginning!!!
