Cellular Memory is still my favourite thing these guys released, shame they split as I think they could have evolved into a very strange monster.

I heard this from another user back in January 2009: "The singer Ben is doing some melancholy singer-songwritery stuff as Angel In The Architecture. Bassist Alex is doing a kind of mathy/proggy instrumental thing with a few other musos, called 85 Bears. Guitarist Graham is doing a kind of live breakcore laptop thing called Bleak Reference. And the drummer Leo is heading up some Brazillian Batteria of drums and is apparently doing a damn fine job. Worth checking out, I reckon. Killing it." --- After much searching I found bits and pieces from a few here and there. You can see some of Ben's live acoustic performances on YouTube.

Anyone fancy mediafiring A Perfect Life... and Cellular Memory? I had all 3 on CD at one point but I've no idea who I lent them to, and I'd well appreciate a copy.

Sorely missed - those great British bands of the early 00s were super good - miocene, mahumodo, beecher, johnny truant, eden maine, capdown. Short lived bands but long lasting beautiful music.

gimbulate nailed it. definitley tool influenced but in the abstract way they composed their songs. miocene is the only band i knew of that ever came close to tool. a shame that they disbaned.

Tool influenced? yes. Tool clone? no. If you actually listened to their music instead of reading other people's comments and reviews you would realise that {Miocene} aren't really like Tool at all.
