Soon I discovered that this rock thing was true
Jerry Lee Lewis was the Devil
Jesus was an architect previous to his career as a prophet

I remember the precise moment in 1992 when I heard this song for the first time (thanks mom!). I was 10 years old, and it was truly a revelation. Goodbye Paula Abdul, MC Hammer, Madonna...! I'm not a big Ministry fan per-say, but they will always have a special place in my heart for turning me to the musical path I follow to this day.

the story of how this song was recorded is hilarious. check Chris Connelly's biography on the subject. Poor Chris worked for days on the vocals in the studio, until Gibby Haines recorded them at a first try after a hard bindge in Chicago one night. Chris felt like shit after that of course:)) But this remains probably one of the greatest Ministry songs.
