Hailing from Vienna, Austria, mind.in.a.box is an electronic music duo formed in 2002, consisting of Stefan Poiss (music & vocals) and Markus Hadwiger (lyrics). Their “technopop” sound can be described as a cross between futurepop and progressive trance. The songs feature monologues, snippets of audio logs and conversations that combine to tell a story that spans each of their albums. Together, they form a mysterious epic that draws on science fiction, fantasy and noir fiction.

Pretty disappointed with the new album. The music's great, but the lyrics and vocals kill it. The guy can't sing for shit, and that shows horribly. The lyrics are just laughable. They need to go back to vocoded vocals, at least that way you couldn't hear the terrible lyrics/singing.

imo revelations is a very solid mind in a box album , what makes it different from the other albums is the change in how Stefan was singing in some of the songs . The songs are direct and solid and Stefan singing is great ! crossroads was a very strong album and had i guess wider limits to its sound than revelations , so is dreamweb and lost alone. Still revelations is an awesome album and a very unique progress to the music and the story of mind in a box , revelations i guess laid a starting layer of a new diverse yet true mind in a box sound that will come and show more in the next albums =] . Doubt - unknown - second reality are my fav in the new album ♥ ^_^ ♥

Revelations is a lot softer, but still very interesting and a great continuation of the story... but in contrast to Dreamweb, a lot softer and more contemplative.. Dreamweb, which, after careful consideration.. is, I think, a contender for their best album, although Lost Alone comes stiflingly close.
