“See You Again” was the third single from Miley Cyrus’s debut album, Meet Miley Cyrus. It was released early October 2007 and quickly gained airplay. It was the first song by Miley Cyrus, or her alter ego, Hannah Montana, to gain large amounts of airplay. Each day, the song grew a little in airplay. It didn’t take long before it caught up in digital sales as well. As of July 2008, it has sold nearly 1,500,000 copies in the US alone, causing it to go Platinum in the US. The song had no official music video, but was successful without one. It managed to peak at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100, #4 on the Canadian Hot 100, and #7 on the Australian Top Singles, where it currently sits at #8. The song mentions her best friend, Leslie.
