  • My favorite of his jazz rock stuff. It's right in the middle as far as sound goes, its not as tranquil as In A Silent Way but not as abrasive as Bitches Brew. Also, when In A Silent Way ends I feel like it should be longer, and sometimes I can't sit through all of Bitches Brew, whereas with this album everything seems to be in place. All three are straight masterpieces though
