  • @MisterJunior You might also try to use AlbumArtistSort, ArtistSort or even Composer (I use the last one to group all works by some artist).
  • I use The Miles Davis Quintet/Miles Davis Quintet in the Album Artist field for recordings credited as such and Miles Davis in the Artist field. The album plays scrobble under Miles Davis Quintet while the actual plays scrobble to Miles Davis, which is how I like it. I do the same with Bill Evans Trio/Bill Evans, The John Coltrane Quartet/John Coltrane, etc. I prefer to have things strictly (some might say pedantically) categorized like that, but many others put Miles Davis Quintet in the Artist field, which I have no problem with. Not sure why it's an issue since no one is forcing you to scrobble them in a way you don't like.
