Freedom Jazz Dance That's an order, very much in order and how things should be today. Not a tall order. A reasonable order. A necessary order given the lack of Freedom, Jazz and Dance in the world today. Miles Davis:trumpet, Wayne Shorter: saxophonist, Ron Carter:bass, Tony Williams: drums, Herbie Hancock,:piano. Not the line up below.

Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Red Garland, Philly Joe Jones and Paul Chambers knew all there is to know about Freedom, Jazz and Dance.

What a groove Tony Williams has going throughout the whole song with Ron Carter churning away on the bottom. Miles and Wayne Shorter just feeding each other - brilliant! Gives me happy feet!

To have been able to actually see these guys play live must have been mind blowing, to say the absolute least.

This group here with Hancock, Shorter, Carter, Williams and Miles leading the way is my favorite of all time. It just all worked so well together.
