Mild Winter is an indie / folk group from Harrisonburg, VA.
Formed in the Fall of 2006 by Ben and Melanie as a recording project, Mild Winter shifted into a full on band in the earlier winter. That spring Nik Combs joined the band, giving Mild Winter a more complete sound. The following fall they began recording for their first full length CD,A Wanderer’s Home, which was released in February of 2008. Currently Mild Winter is playing shows around Virginia and the surrounding states and preparing to record again in the near future.
