    I've been a Mike Stern fan since his "Upside Downside" album in '86, that album really got me excited about jazz/fusion, it's a masterpiece... check it out. See him live if you get the chance, I saw him at Slim's in SF in the late 80's with Michael Brecker. He's amazing!
