The vocalist on Smallcreep's Day is way better than Mike's own vocals in my opinion. Sorry Mike.... thanks for not having sung on Smallcreep !

Have you listened to Tony Banks' A Curious Feeling album ? It was released at the same time as Smalcreeps' Day. Both albums are "must-haves" for Genesis fans.

For some reason I'd put off listening to any of Rutherford's solo work, while having explored almost every other Genesis-related artist. Finally hearing Smallcreep's Day was a revelation, as to Rutherford's talent as a songwriter and his part of the Genesis sound.

Not just "compression" but musically far superior! In "layman" terms -- less accessible...!
