my last year's discovery See The Light, which is blend of metalcore with worship. personally i prefered their first effort Father, This Is For You due to its raw passion and sound. their second ep Maranatha is a solid sophomore release, but a little lacking for my tastes.
Aaron Gillespie and his The Almost released another stellar record Monster Monster. but their pre-CD EP Monster hit it home with me - short and bright. Hands and Monster are so good!!!
canadians Grave Maker hit me like a freight train with their Bury Me At Sea in 2008! ans their 3-song Home Is Where The Heartache Is is a nice addition to the Grave Maker playlist!!!
