Blame It on the Girls (3:33)
From The Boy Who Knew Too Much and 6 other releases
“Blame It on the Girls” is the second Japanese and American single from Mika’s second studio album, The Boy Who Knew Too Much. It will also be the third single released in the UK on Februrary 15, 2010. The song was produced and mixed by Greg Wells.
The single failed to make any impact on any of the Billboard charts in the United States. It was a big hit in Japan where it hit #1 for a week. It is only the second international single to hit #1 in the Japanese Hot 100, provided by Billboard, after Leona Lewis’s 2008 hit, “Bleeding Love”.
In an interview with Q magazine, Mika says:
“[“Blame It on the Girls”] sounds like No Doubt. It’s about a wealthy, handsome boy who has everything, yet pretends to be miserable.”

He's got looks that books take pages to tell
He's got a face to make you fall on your knees
He's got money in the bank to thank and I guess
You could think he's living at ease
Mika
