Mietta, pseudonym of Daniela Miglietta, born in Taranto on 12 November 1969, is an Italian singer and actress. In 1987 it begins with him/it broadcast “a star is Born”, radionovella of around 240 episodes for the RAI. It begins the musical career to the Festival of Sanremo in 1988 with ” Sogno ” written by Claudio Mattone. In 1989 success arrives, in fact Mietta wins the Festival of Sanremo in the category New Proposals with ” Canzoni ” written by Amedeo Minghi also getting the prize of the criticism. The single ” Canzoni ” it overcomes the 100.000 copies and it earns the disk of platinum. The silver Telegatto besides as good emergent artist is assigned to her. The definitive consecration arrives however in 1990 when Mietta, in couple with Amedeo Minghi, third reaches Sanremo with the famous ” Vattene Amore”. This single overcomes the 300.000 copies and earns 10 disks of platinum. In the same year his goes out first albums ” Canzoni “that is published also in Europe overcoming her 600.000 copies earning so 5 disks of platinum and varied gold disks. 2 gold telegattis are also assigned to her: one for Vattene love, the other one as good female interpreter of the year.
In 1991 it is again to Sanremo with the passage ” Dubbi no “, whose single it earns the gold disk. The album goes out “Badminton the pages”, that overcomes the 250.000 copies and it earns two disks of platinum. It again receives a gold telegatto as good female interpreter of the year.
