Saint-Étienne, France (1997 – present)

Mickey 3D (or using the correct capitalisation miCkey[3d] as per the band’s own website) formed in 1997 in Saint-Étienne, France, an old mining and industrial town located near Lyon. This might explain the politically charged lyrics of their songs.

Three members started the band: Mickaël Furnon, Aurélien Joanin, and Najah El Mahmoud.

The style of the band can best be described as folk rock. Mickael has written many songs for other bands, most notably “

J’ai demandé à la lune” for Indochine.

J'ai écouté "Respire" dans un cours de français il y a trois années, mais ce n'était que jusqu'à hier que j'ai écouté des autres chansons par Mickey 3d. Mais je les aime déjà (et peut-être plus que "Respire"... >.>). :) (Desolée pour le mauvais français.)
