Mick Underwood was the drummer for Ian Gillan’s second post-Deep Purple project; Gillan as well as the pre-Deep Purple MKII band Episode Six. He has been a member of many bands including The Herd, Quartermass and Peace (with Paul Rodgers) as well as being an accomplished session musician.

Underwood released a solo single Earthquake At The Savoy which featured the b-side Redwatch co-written by fellow Gillan band-mate Bernie Torme. Redwatch was also released on the “free” Gillan album For Gillan Fans Only as track 3.
