I first heard this tune when I saw The Movie "Performance" at the time about 1970 the movie was all Jagger but the songs were great and the movie was almost good...

I love the Met version but prefer the version on London Years , the other debatable subject is the backing band but on this song it doesn't matter cause Jagger ownes the song

Is that Keith on guitar and/or Ry Cooder? Well, either way, it sounds like American deep south blues, magical and mischievous.

"The only performance that makes it, really makes it, leads to madness" - what an underrated, weird, snapshot of the moment flick. Absolutely love this Gram Parsons, Ry Cooder flavor throughout.

I think 'Performance' has the best soundtrack of any film. If you haven't seen 'Performance' see it. It is still one of the most powerful and innovative films in cinema history (and my favourite film)
