White Metal is pretty pleasant to my ears. Personally, any recording that heavily utilizes sine tones is generally tougher to sit through. Congaree Nomads on Continuum Unbound is perhaps my favorite recording from Pisaro, absolutely gorgeous.
'White Metal' is harsh, but easier to listen to (for me) than 'Closed Categories', which I find very difficult to get through. 'Continuum Unbound' arrived here yesterday, only starting to explore its wonders!
Continuum Unbound is so incredibly satisfying in concept and execution. I absolutely love how the idea of fog that's mentioned in the liner notes feels like an intrinsic part of the work since it was through an exploration of the initial field recording (or I suppose, an exploration of the "seductive" fog) that these ideas started to build upon one another and uncover certain truths about how we engage with music and life.
