About This Track
Someone In The Dark is an 1982 track from the audiobook and soundtrack album of Steven Spielberg’s E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. MCA Records was prohibited from releasing the recordings and single after court action taken by Epic Records due to the release of Jackson’s Thriller album the same month. The song was later released as bonus material on the 2001 reissue of Thriller, and in 2004 as part of The Ultimate Collection box set.

I took the liberty of editing out E.T.'s dialogue and the song is so much better because of it. Now that I can finally take it seriously, it's easily one of MJ's best.
