This should have been released as a Swans album with Jarboe's Sacrificial Cake as the second disc. That's how I think of these albums anyway.

Just a comment to some of the posts below: Drainland was released in '95, so its definately not a post Swans effort, and considering the fact it was released the year before Soundtracks... came out its not suprising it bears resemblance to Swans

With the fact that he strongly detests his previous Swans material in mind, this manages to sound very similar to some of the stuff he put out as Swans. Incredible album nevertheless.
