Metheny and Brecker absolutely smoke on this track. Actually everyone is pretty much ripping it up on this track - great musicians always bring out the best in each other. RIP Mr. Brecker.

One of the best PM solos I ever heard. He always was on fire when he played with Michael. The latter played his ass off every time put his sax to his mouth. MB is the greatest jazz soloist of all time, and, of course, that covers a lot of territory! My #2 is Eric Dolphy. Both were musicians' musicians, virtuoso artists larger than life, who practiced fanatically, because they had incredibly demanding music pent up in them that they had to release. They were fountains and springs of music in this regard.
