Formed in Charlotte, NC in early 2008. Released a demo, 7", two cassettes, one live CD and two 12" LP's through a several labels including Kinnikinnik, Statuestory, Made In Kansas and Inkblot. Broke up in 2011.
Having closed the book on his former bands Adamantium and Give Until Gone, when singer/guitarist Dan Sena set out to form the band that would become Bullet Train To Vegas in September 2001, the only goal in mind was to create music that contradicted the current dull and predictable state of punk and indie rock.
Vocally, Choke Up is very similar to Comadre. Instrumentally, they have a "Post-Hardcore" feel. Then it feels like all the music was structured by The Lawrence Arms. Choke Up play dark and emotional melodic hardcore with several different elements at play. Choke Up’s thick brand of impassioned hardcore, and their powerful vocals that will stay with you long after, is a breath of fresh air.
Started as a project for proverbial “shits and giggles” Alex Goldfarb and Richard Minino (aka Horsebites) from New Mexican Disaster Squad made a valiant attempt at starting a pop-punk band. Their former band was grinding to a halt and their itch to play music together was not yet satiated, so GATORFACE was formed in an attempt to do something new and different.
Brad Wallace-Bass Versoma is a band working out of Philadelphia, PA. We're just getting things fully underway at the moment. The only thing that can be said for sure is that there will be a whole lot of noise and a whole lot of volume. With any luck there will be some melody and some sort of rhthym involved as well.
Rational Anthem is a pop punk band which was formed in late 2007 in Minocqua, Wisconsin. The following winter the group moved to Sarasota, Florida. Rational Anthem currently consists of 3 members Noelle Stolp on lead guitar/vocals, Chris Hembro on bass/vocals, and Peter Stolp on drums.
