The series starts off innocently enough - a tourist exploring a world carried on the back of a turtle. It's basically a spoof of fantasy novels at this point.
2. The Light Fantastic || I Ran Away
This is one of the few character-specific songs that suggested itself: Rincewind, the star of the first two novels, is a professional coward, with his own special way of surviving everything.
3. Equal Rites || Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic
The first novel to star Granny Weatherwax is about a girl who does wizardry and wants to study in the big Discworld city, Ankh-Morpork. And everyone knows girls can't be wizards. So here's a song about woman and magic.
4. Mort || (Don't Fear) The Reaper
Death - the skeleton with a scythe, takes on an apprentice. True story - when Mort was going to be released in the USA, the publishers asked him to rewrite the book because The American public aren't ready for a sympathetic Death figure. Months later, Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey was released.
15 Mar 2007, 12:08 by innerbratI set myself the challenge of finding a song to relate to each of the novels (omitting the 'Young Adults' and The Last Hero for no reason other than space) and this is what I came up with.

The Light Fantastic: I Ran Away
Equal Rites: Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic
Mort: Don't Fear the Reaper
Sourcery: Masters of the UNIVERSE

Soul Music: Blame It On The Love Of Rock & Roll
Interesting Times: Turning Japanese
Maskerade: Phantom of the Opera
Feet of Clay: Iron Man
Hogfather: What's This?
The Last Continent: Down Under
Carpe Jugulum: The Vampire Club

So, here's how it works:
Open your music player (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, etc).
Put it on shuffle.
For every question type the song that's on.
When you go to a new question press the next button.

6 Nov 2006, 20:42 by memalenaOkay, so I'm born in 1991, the year when the music industry(in my eyes and ears)did it very well. Almost all of my favourite CD's came out that year. From my number one favourite band U2 came my favourite U2 album, Achtung Baby. This album shocked a lot of U2 fans, 'cause it was so different from what they had done before. The album also contains my favourite U2 song, Ultra Violet (Light My Way).
Okay, so let's move on to the next artist, Nirvana. They came out with Nevermind, which is my favourite Nirvana album, and it also contains my favourite Nirvana song, Come as You Are. Nevermind is one of the most important albums in history I dare say, and it made Nirvana "stars over the night". Okay, so let's take another Seattle band when we're at it. Pearl Jam. Yep, I admit that I enjoy both Pearl Jam, and Nirvana, I'm not embarrassed to admit it. Pearl Jam came out with their greatest album, Ten, which contains my favourite Pearl Jam song, Jeremy. …
10 Apr 2006, 21:09 by crono333So I had this cool idea for a playlist... animals! I just took any track I have with an animal species in the title (or closely animal related) and threw them all together. I only took the studio version of any song with multiples available (no live, demos). I was quite surprised by the number of songs in the playlist... 89! So 2.2% of all my songs are animal songs... hmmm.
Anyways, you guys should give it a try... I had a most interesting animal-themed weekend listening to the whole playlist. For my own personal amusement I tallied up my zoo population (in animal-alphabetical order of course):
2 ants, 2 bears, a bee, a beetle, 3 unidentified birds, a blackbird, a bull, 2 butterflies, 4 cats, some cattle, a cockroach (why?), a cow, a crow, a deer, 9 dogs, a dolphin, 2 generic fish, 2 flies, a frog, a gerbil, a goat, 2 horses, 2 lambs, a leech, a mockingbird, 5 monkeys, 2 mosquitos, a mule, 2 otters, 3 pigs, 3 rats, a rattlesnake, a raven, a rhinoseros, a rooster, a sardine…

Guess the song from the lyrics
1. I was waiting for something, maybe flying machines
2. Take your armour off, you're not under attack
3. Please keep moving, better keep moving
4. We're sharing one eternity, living in two minds
Through My Words
5. Tastes so good, oh, but I knew it would
I Think I Lost My Headache
6. Eloquence belongs to the conqueror
7. Bright is the moon high in starlight, chill in the air cold as steel tonight
Of Wolf and Man
8. I was born a fool, don't want to stay that way
9. Have supper with the aliens, and fight the war alone
Lines in the Sand
10. All your insides fall to pieces, you just sit there wishing you could still make love
High and Dry
11. He pulls his prayer book out of his sleeping bag, the preacher lights up a butt and takes a drag
The Ghost of Tom Joad
12. And he's got pictures on the wall, of all the girls he wished she was
Flavor Of The Weak
