For all you people out there complaining about the production and how it makes the album unlistenable, just download the guitar hero mix. It makes it sound much more dynamic and honestly I love the album even more now after hearing it.

This is not thrash, but it's good. What ends the album really is the fucking shit mastering.

Apart from the mixing issues, a return to form. No "Puppets", but a good addition to the Metallica canon.

@Czajnik_69 I wish it did, because someone like you deserves it, unlike the millions out there with cancer who don't.

Did I just downloaded it wrong or does it clip like hell for anyone else?

Far better than their Load/Reload/St Anger stuff. But certainly not the comeback they hoped, either. Overkill and Kreator are better options for more recent albums from 80's era bands.

Knew it was quite bad before listening to My Apocalypse with headphones today but it has to be one of the, if not the worst production I've heard to date. It's shit. Yeah the mix is smokin', Lars.. ..smoking like dog feces on fire.

Is Death Magnetic as good as the old Metallica-albums or is it as bad as everything after the black album?
