I can't describe how much I love this album. Back to the roots & I don't give a fuck about mastering. It's loud & powerfull. That Was Just Your Life- it's not Figh Fire With Fire, Blackened or even Battery but it's fokin awesome. The End of the Line- so catchy. BBS- yeah, it's ok. The Day That Never Comes- One is my favourite Met track, so it's obvious that i love this one too. All Nightmare Long- strong, fast, crazy! I think it's the best from DM. Everyday that shit wake me up better than coffee. Cyanide- another goddamn catchy. Unforgiven 3- shittt...I like it. I prefer 1 & 2 but this one is also good. Judas Kiss- catchy as hell refrain and that long solo! Suicide- only one track that I don't like it. Maybe cause it's tooooo long. My Apocalypse- Insane shit! So wild and crazy. I'm lovin it. for me it looks...MoP, RtL, AJFA, DM, KEA, Black, Reload, Load and...St. Anger

Lars drumming gave me cancer as always but the album is... decent, after all. Not exceptional, not even good, but decent.

Fantastic album with a lot of great riffs and classic Metallica moments. This is the true follow-up to AJFA. I'm so glad they managed to pull this off, I just wish we could erase St.Anger from the history.

IMO, this is the best Metallica album since And Justice For All. However, I don;t love it, I do like it. I like "modern" production, but I don't like how weird this was mixed/mastered. They should have Andy Sneap remix it.

This is a fantastic album ruined by its production, so if you care enough about it, go find the Guitar Hero version of the album or any of the fan remasters, they sound great and the album is listenable.

Definitely the best thing that Metallica have released since the Black Album. Not as good as those first five albums but much better than anything released between them and DM and miles better than Loutallica.
