• Favourite Albums of All Time

I thought I'd decide to post a journal of my all time favourite albums. Regardless of who released it, it's not that often I come across an album that I like all the way through.

    The Garden by Merril Bainbridge
    Released: 31 July 1995.
So I didn't exactly buy this album as soon as it came out, though my mum had "Mouth" and "Under the Water" on some Reader's Digest 90's mix CD's. I brought the album off eBay in 2006 for about $5, a good eleven years after it was released. I really liked "Mouth" and "Under the Water" but I didn't have too much expectation on the first listen. Though I was really surprised, it is a very solid pop album that has a lot of substance, not every song sounds the same. Merril also wrote or co-wrote every song on the album (except for her cover of "Being Boring" by the Pet Shop Boys).

The album faired well on the music charts as well. …
