I'll disagree with the other shouts and say I dig this. I wasn't familiar with them (Memoryhouse) until this morning when I heard this track on KEXP. Nice.

Paulercoffee is spot on unfortunately. It was the faded distant sound that attracted me to them, this is just the opposite and upfront and plain, it doesn't play to their strengths at all.

i'll be frank: this is just not good. I like the band before (Lately) because they did a good job with a gorgeous sample. Denise's stoic vocals only work when it blends in the music, not become so "front". Besides, i thought the song-writing is below average, the arrangement is flat-out boring, and there's nothing new or exciting here.
