yes, the singer resembles Dave Gahan... but so does Shia Labeouf, lol. i agree with fpunit... enjoy it for what it is. DM paved the way for a LOT of these bands (And One, Beborn Beton, etc), but they've also found their own way to distinguish themselves. Melotron's a lot more dancey, & i love the fact that they sing in German. i can never get enuff of them!!! i'm still sad that they had to cancel their US tour last fall :( They were supposed to come to my town... hopefully they'll reschedule in the near future!!

If they wanted to sound like DM, they could -- DM has produced nothing worthwhile in their last three albums. Also, they sing in German, which means they will never have the reach DM has achieved. Stop complaining and enjoy the music, or leave it for those who do like it.

Believe it or not, not every synthpop band in the world sounds like Depeche Mode. :^) People have even said that Stromkern sounds like Depeche Mode. It only sounds like Depeche Mode if that's the only synthpop band you've ever listened to.
