Melody Ruiz Gutiérrez (October 18, 1990), better known as Melody, is a Spanish singer of pop genre and flamenco elements. In 2001, he released his first album debut De pata negra be getting double-platinum and platinum in Spain and Latin America respectively.1 Their first single The dancing gorilla became the subject of summer which is ranked nine times 1 in Spain, four No. 1 in Argentina, 2 in USA and No. 7 in France. Its popularity led to the Latin Grammy nomination for Best Album for Children in 2002. In 2009 was presented to the shortlist to represent Spain in Eurovision in the program Eurovision 2009: The return and which was second without being able to represent his country.

He was born in Dos Hermanas, Sevilla, in a family closely related to music. His father, Lorenzo, along with other family members, formed the group Los Kiyose. Since childhood he became interested in music and dance. El Fary became executive producer and sought musicians, authors, producers and studios to shape the first job. The composer Adrian created for her repertoire of songs, with some contributions of Fary own. As a producer, Gustavo Ramudo elected.

His first album “De Pata Negra” achieved success in Spain to embark on international tours allowed for Latin America and the United States. 2002 she was nominated for Latin Grammy awards and received one of the most inportant awards in the U.S.
