Not sure why they felt the need to re-record Das Licht Am Ende Der Welt though. Also, am I missing something? I didn't think Herz Aus Gold was a previous Megaherz song? Can't find it listen on any of the albums?

After my first listen, Götterdämmerung was better than I thought it would be. I wasn't a big fan of Heuchler, so I didn't have a lot of hope for this album, but it was better than expected. I do prefer the original "Das Licht am Ende der Welt," but the version of "Herz aud Gold" on here was pretty good. I'll give this album a few more listens.

Whereas Heuchler sounded to me a little too much like your basic metal music, this new work marks Megaherz's return to the core of the NDH- style. This is exemplified by more electro-samples and Lex's vocals which overall seem to have improved since 2008. While I still think Matze Elsholz's vocals made "5" an outstanding album, Götterdämmerung is certainly better produced. Fünf Sterne.
