    It's fun to compare this with Arthur Honegger's Pacific 231, which, coincidentally, I heard just before this one. Two different realizations of trains written in different genres about the same time (circa the 1920s).

    Apart from being a sucker for Boogie Woogie, I'm also a sucker for blues about trains. How much greater bliss can I find than with "Honky Tonk Train Blues"?! (Of course, I know Lewis is no Oscar Peterson. Still fun though)
