“Fade Into You” was the highest charting song from alternative pop group Mazzy Star. The song made the Top 5 of Billboard’s Modern Rock chart in 1994, peaking at number three, and is Mazzy Star’s only single to make the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at #44. The song appeared on the album So Tonight That I Might See, which reached #36 on the Billboard 200.

“Fade Into You” was also featured in the 1999 cult film “Jawbreaker” - starring Rose McGowan, Rebecca Gayheart and Jessica Benz. The song made both the movie and official soundtrack.
