Joe Michel Maza Marquez was born on march 16, 1978. At age 16 aquired the name " El menor de la Salsa." As of 1004 Michel Maza is considered one of the greatest Timba singers. Still touring regularly, he also has a Havana Timba band.
Carlos Caro was born in Havana, Cuba in 1967. He grew up in a little town call Guanajay at the west of Havana. From an early age, he was strongly drawn to Cuban music, and, in particular, to percussion.

Following the musical path first walked by José Luis Cortés & NG La Banda in the late 1980s (which gave birth to the new Cuban dance music concept known as "Timba" to some or "Cuban Salsa" to others) is the group called Havana Power Band. This new ensemble of timberos is comprised of mostly former members of another very popular Cuban band called Dan Den (and led by Juan Carlos Alfonso).
Paulito FG, aka Pablo FG, aka Paulo FG, aka Pablo Alfonso Fernández Gallo, is one of the central figures of Timba and one who will definitely receive the same type of in-depth treatment we've given NG La Banda and Charanga Habanera.
Although we have taken a long time to create an Orquesta Revé section, it has not been because we don't consider them to play Timba, but rather because this orchestra has such a long and important role in the history of contemporary Cuban dance music that creating a section that will do them justice is a daunting task.
