i'd say each album with Derek singing alone improved in order. Anywhere But Here was garbage except for approximately two songs, Self-titled was so/so but showing glimmers of hope, Monsters in the Closet was a "now this is what i'm talkin about" listen for me, and Black Lines blew my mind. What I'm saying is i'd put A Lesson in Romantics and Black Lines down as their best efforts, with Monsters not too far behind.

Je suis comme toi rachaelc1878, le style a changé, plus criard... Moins mélodieux, il utilise a peine la deuxième voix. Je préfère les albums précédent.

After a first listen through of the new album I'm a bit disappointed with it. Maybe it'll grow on me though.
