Axial Ensemble is a two man project of Arttu Kataja and Matti Paalanen based in Helsinki, Finland. Ambient, drifting soundscapes are produced by improvisation like process. The musicians compose and mix their own musical structures without exactly knowing what others are doing. The end results sound refreshing, dynamic and different in comparison to more traditional techniques.

He studied under the teacher Elena Segura, a fundamental mainstay of his training, and obtained his professional pianist qualification. Marcus Fischer (b.1977) is a musician & multimedia artist currently based in Portland, Oregon. With early beginnings in the LA independent music scene, Fischer moved from there to Olympia, Washington where in addition to drumming in various bands he found new opportunities to further experiment with sound, using tape loops and electronics.
General Fuzz is James Kirsch's electronic music project. Kirsch's first electronic album, "General Fuzz," was released under the name DJ Messy in 2002. All subsequent releases were put out under the General Fuzz name. Six albums have been completed and are distributed freely on Kirsch's website.
