Matthew Good Band was an alternative rock band from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, active from 1995 until 2002. During their career, they released 4 LPs (Last of the Ghetto Astronauts, Underdogs, Beautiful Midnight and The Audio of Being) as well as 3 EPs (Lo-Fi B-Sides, Raygun and Loser Anthems). At the time the band broke up, it was composed of guitarist and vocalist Matthew Good, drummer Ian Browne, guitarist/keyboardist Dave Genn and bassist Rich Priske (Priske had replaced original bassist Geoff Lloyd).

After the breakup, Matthew Good continued to release music as a solo artist. As a solo artist, he has released two albums (Avalanche and White Light Rock & Roll Review) as well as a greatest hits collection entitled In A Coma. His newest album, titled “Hospital Music,” was released in August of 2007.

Matthew Good-Live At Massey Hall was released November 4, 2008.

Yeah, well Matthew Good Band has not been around in quite a few years, and Matthew Good has embraced life more. Maybe the show then sucked, but he's on top of his game nowadays.

The worst live performance that I ever saw in my life was the Matthew Good Band.... not worth the listen, they were drunk, came out hours late, and were bitter that they weren't headlining instead of Foo Fighters!
