Demos is beautiful in my opinion. Magicland always makes me nostalgically teary for some reason.

like Matt Skiba as an artist before a musician. Thus why I enjoyed "Demos". [3]

Gotta give the songs some extra listens guys. It's decent stuff, some of the songs are even rough masterpieces. [2]

Halfway through the album I'm pretty bored. Don't know why I get excited with every new Alk3/Skiba release just to be disappointed again. [3]

With all the crap thrown around about this 'Demos' release, I'd put off giving the mp3s a spin until today, and with such low expectations, I rather enjoyed it. Some of them remind me of older Alk3 (good thing). Album is kind of hit or miss, but whatever

okay ive been a long alkaline trio (and side projects) fan. but this solo album is bland. i mean the songs could be good, they just deff need to be reworked. and he dropped the mac garage band and maybe used acid pro or logic, but hey they are just demos right. and plus the whole bike theme was nice.

@kylelikescoffee Although I disagree that anything on Demos is boring, it's called Demos because they are just that...demos. They aren't finished. Eventually he's going to release an actual solo album where the songs will be more complete :)

I think the 'Demos' title is pretty accurate. A lot of these sound like they could be great songs, but are pretty boring the way they are presented here.

Haven't You is the only decent track on the album. The rest of the songs are pretty boring.
