This fresh and open outlook on not only music but entertainment from a complete business approach has opened the door for creativity for the modern day recording artist. Here, we enter a new wave of writing and producing multi-genre music with Matt G.
Born 1983 in Midland, Texas the name Matthew means, “Gift from God” which he has proven rightfully so, with his unique approach to music. Since early childhood, Matt has worked on crafting his poetic and creative writing skills. A dramatic roller-coaster ride of childhood and adolescent experiences attribute to his compelling story of emotional struggle through various family crisis’ that play-out like a modern day television drama. His imaginative and narrative nature drive his music, with inspiration from an observational point of view growing up in the Post-Cold War era. Matt’s point of view stem from the effects of small town American culture, growing up through the controversial transitional phases of two presidential administrations. His childhood memories don’t consist of a life on the streets of a metropolitan American city but rather a small West Texas setting filled with adolescent mischief and early adult tribulations.
