Biography

Matt Berninger (born 1971) is an American singer and songwriter best known for being the lead singer of indie rock band The National. He is notable for his baritone vocals making The National’s melodies original and distinct, allowing words to come to life with stories of “gloomy vignettes about young city dwellers”.
