    I used to live in Park Slope. It probably wasn't Matt & Kim, but one night I went to a bar in the neighborhood that didn't get a lot of traffic. One could easily miss the fact that there was even a bar there. If it wasn't Matt & Kim, it was their dead ringers, but I was unaware of Matt & Kim at the time. I was pretty drunk and I asked them if they wanted to smoke a joint I had rolled. So, we went back to their apartment and he put on a hard to come by Bob Dylan record and we got high. I don't know that it was Matt & Kim, but when I saw their picture for the first time--I thought, "I've seen these people somewhere before." He said that he was a musician and he gave me a jazz CD he had done some work on, though. It was kind of weird. If it wasn't them, the people looked like them and live in their neighborhood and were pretty nice company all the same.
