Mathias Rust Band

Mathias Rust Band is a fictional band from the Norwegian book named “The Man Who Loved Yngve” (original title: “Mannen Som Elsket Yngve”).

Mathias Rust Band’s songs from the movie adaption of the book are written, composed and performed by Geir Zahl from the Norwegian alternative rock band Kaizers Orchestra, and John Erik Kaada. Kaada is known for making the soundtracks to movies such as “Mongoland”, “Alt Om Min Far” and “O’Horten”, as well as working with Mike Patton from Faith No More on the album “Romances” from 2004.

The soundtrack became available in stores January 4th 2008.
