Peter Hammill, Kevin Ayers, and Jon Anderson are some of the best and most unique vocalists of the genre. Such fantastic and innovative styling.

Which is your favorite verse? The second one? Or... is it the last one?

He's pretty damn good with the Hatfields too, and on a little-known 90's album by electronic-based Canterburyphiles Ultramarine, where he sings a sublime song called 'Happy Land', made even more sublime by the inclusion of some marvellous saxophone courtesy of Jimmy Hastings. We are barely worthy

Wyatt has adorned some of the greatest pieces of music ever written with his voice. Especially solo but also with Matching Mole, Soft Machine, Nick Mason and countless others. Sublime & damn near f**king perfect.

With a few notes on a nude piano and a couple of words out of this amazing voice and i still got goosebumps forty years later.....Robert Wyatt should be intronised in the rock and roll hall of fame along side with peter hammill and Shawn Phillips for inventing new worlds galaxies and ways of singing

They are 3 amazing voices in the Rock world that moves me outside my limits: Robert Wyatt, Peter Hammill, Shawn Phillips...in the woman world: Annie Haslam and then of course there are Neil Young ( but with very few possibilities) Greg Lake,Zappa ( not for the voice evidently but for the smile in it) Kevin Ayers for his amazing warmth in it...in the french and italian world it,s other stories

Amazing! I remnber when Rock bottom came out we did some mescaline and we listen to the end of sea song for 4 hours just putting the final back and back it was the most amazing trip! I love his voice so deeply... I would give a lot to see him live .....back in the 70's..He is in the top 3 of my singers...

I think Robert Wyatt is probably my favourite singer/vocalist, and that piano is beautiful

Why is this so beautiful and meaningful to me? The lyrics are so basic and yet somehow very deep. Must be something to do with the magic of Robert Wyatt, and the beautiful piano. Wonderful
