i simply don't get why people so blame their live vocals. yea, they're worse than studio ones, but good enough to go together with perfect instrumental part live of the last baron is absolute masterpiece!

It is how it was supposed to be. The vocals are clean on the studio version because Warner want to sell the records. Listen to the old shit, this live one is perfect to me, in your face, yes we still are Mastodon for real.

yeah, they play fantastic music, they are good instrumentalists... but vocals. I agree with Soundservant. At studio-version singing is perfect, but at live perfomans it leaves much to be desired. On the other hand I cant immagine another man in the band

At first I didn't like, but the album is actually good. They do need a better singer, but it sounds somewhat good the way they sing now. I'm not sure if I'd bring another member if I were to choose.
