The Master Musicians Of Jajouka are an ensemble of trance musicians from the village of Jajouka, Morocco in the southern Rif Mountains. The music of Jajouka is a form of reed, pipe, and percussion music that relies on , improvisation, and complex rhythms, much of which is unique to Jajouka, often creating a trance state, induced by the intense sound and rhythm of the flutes.

Oh please, all anybody is ever doing in a shoutbox is expressing a personal opinion and it is totally reasonable to respond to a comment if you are interested in anything more than a one way dialogue. It's hardly getting worked up is it? I'm a fan of both bands music, and I still say don't be absurd. I'm glad you can see the comparison comes from the band name and I'm glad you can see it is somewhat childish, which was my point, what's yours? Are you saying you think it is only reasonable to respond to somebody's personal opinion if you agree with it? Best of luck with that...

no the reason i felt like dropping that is cus you called zoOmbie out on being absurd while he was just mentioning his personal opinion. and yes, the comparison comes from the band name and i guess it's a wee bit childish but very inoffensive so you getting so worked up about it is rather silly man. lighten up

I'm sure it's all about personal preference and all, but it's pretty depressing that the only reason either of you felt moved to write was to extoll the virtues of a pastiche band. I like the MMOB but how you can come to the conclusion that the MMOJ are not as good is completely beyond me, it seems like a bizarre thing to say, like there is any real comparison between the two beyond the pun of the band name.

Don't be absurd. They are good, granted but what a ridiculously juvenile name. The Master Musicians of Jajouka are the real deal.
