SMph026: Flat Affect - The Harvest
Flat Affect isn't pretty when it comes to music. He likes it both ways, going harsh from time to time, but always coming back home to the dark (ambient) side. If we had cookies, he ate them all. The Harvest is a collection from compilation tracks of last year. Half of them were made but never released, the other half was well received and stars on a couple of good albums. There doesn't seem to be a certain here, we jump from one style to another between tracks, but they are arranged in such a way that each track complements the next or the previous. It ultimately climaxes in a couple of 4 second tracks. Prepare to be hissed and crackle-popped right up to heaven! Limited to 30 copies.
SMph027: Unisono - I Canti Iniziaticit
Unisono consists of three members, each adding a new set of instruments and a new range of moods to their music. …

the ever-excellent intro track.
2. krovo - Negatexil
this is my track, so i probably shouldn't say too much about it. but it's got some cool harsh and not-so-harsh sounds you might like.
3. Finley Fucks the World - Pleasant Time
this compilation is not for the weak. this track makes sure of that. >:] excellent if you love obnoxious things... which i do
4. Fabio B - nights of polish disco
an awesome really fast yet melodic semi-chiptune sounding sort of song. i'm guessing a LOT of time went into sequencing this in some sort of tracker.
5. YAWE6gletshn - Mxxnsxng
a wall of psychedelic noise. the title is very apt. lots of excellent error sounds for your pleasure.
6. Chinese Church - Endless Vector Head
a really short but sweet and very fun track! reminds me of Masonna when s/he's not doing wall noise and instead opts for the more psychedelic route (for example, Acid Recording (Parts 1, 2 And 3))

30 Dec 2010, 00:13 by blacklessIt's not a secret that every musical composition in the most general form can be described by an acoustic formula. For instance, let's consider the following:
Y = X1 + X2 + X3 + , , , + Xn where Xi is a variable that in a given proportion and succession shows the quantitative form that represents all the acoustic qualities of any composition and let us describe it in musical notes. To go further , two probabilistic concepts should be taken into consideration. Firstly, the more statistical data you have, the easier it is to find out whether there is trend or not. Secondly, if there is a trend you can predict its future data with a certain degree of exactness.
People often say that pop music is the same. And from the mathematical point of view it's the truth simply because in a given point of time we can find an almost linear relation between the popularity of a given song in general or in a given genre etc and it's acoustic qualities. …
10 Sep 2010, 20:03 by sxesvenBeen a bloody while, eh, fuckers? Well, I return a bearer of excellent fucking news. As of today the first two tapes on Hoarse Records are available. Hells. Yeahs. These things sound and look absolutely fucking ace. I could not be more excited!
HOA-029: Dotåbåtå/tar pits - Split (C36, ltd. 30)
The first tape here has two of Australia's finest drone/ambient señors showcasing some of their very best work. On the A side we find Carey of Dotåbåtå with what's probably his singularly most amazing work yet. An incredible track that builds so, so hauntingly from sombre, distant chimes to a crushing, droning thunder that will devour you whole. Incredible craftsmanship at display here. The B side has Dan of Tar Pits offering a beautifully understated work that is all soft crumblings and tumblings, a crescendo constantly about to happen - yet it doesn't, and the tension is maintained wonderfully throughout. Fucking ace!
25 Aug 2010, 14:43 by Dreagan_luna2 new albums released on Sarutra's Music, one a 3" album by newcomer Pale Tongues, the other is in a special new format by ___dREàgänN|||||| and a lot of other artists contributing.
SMlp001: ___dREàgänN|||||| - Reincarnation
With the release of this album, we're starting off a new type of release here at Sarutra's Music, dubbed the "lp". 2-cd albums in a self-constructed cardboard mini version of a double-lp album. Given that you can see a third 3" disc, that's just an exception on the format. Prices for tehse albums are a little higher than regular albums (10€), but that stands to reason, as you get 2 cd's and it comes in a very nice handmade package.
The first disc contains a 2 brand new tracks, called Reincarnation, which is also the title of the album. It mostly contains analogue noise, recorded in numerous locations, mixed in with some digitally created home sampling. There is an apparent use of both ambient and field recordings, and harsh wall noise, even in one and the same track.
2 Jul 2010, 20:25 by GroovemineArtist: Masonna
Album: Frequency LSD
Label: Alien8 Recordings
....Frequency LSD is a 40 minute attack of Masonna’s vicious screaming through a semi-circle of stompboxes, augmented with soaring washes of manipulated feedback, emergency beacon echoes and distortion hiss. Unlike many contemporary noise artists who extend their pieces past the ten or fifteen minute mark, the album rests more into a punk aesthetic by offering fourteen short bursts to the spleen, making this relentless album portioned evenly. Just when your ear-drums feel about ready to bleed, it offers a couple seconds of silence (and a word to the wise…turn your volume knob down to its lowest setting while still being audible before hitting play, then turn it up to taste)....
