sodastar, I disliked it because it was far too linear. It wasn't like the other traditional FF games where you got to roam around, level-grind, or had weird systems. I felt like the game was playing itself and I was doing what I was told... Did not like that at all. I got bored of it very fast.
I do not know how so many people disliked ff13? Its a really good game! And I really liked the new battle system, I thought it was g8! One day I'm going to work for square-Enix and it would be an honor to work on a final fantasy game ^-^
Still incomprehensible to me how people can say that Final Fantasy XII didn't have a good soundtrack. Has anyone listened to The Battle for Freedom? I find that it's better than Dancing Mad and One-Winged Angel. Yeah, I said it.
It sucks that I couldnt stop to enjoy this music during the game. Around Paramina Rift, you start to realize that the bosses are getting incredibly easy. You stop needing to spend any more than a few minutes in each area, and so you forget what every area looked and sounded like.
