This is Martin Donnellys first album. All songs are written by him. The style is folky, a bit celtic with some americana infuences. The instrumentation includes giuitars, piano, fiddle and viola, uileann pipes and whistle.
The songs are filled with nature references, the sea, birds, and songs about the human condition. The songs have a strong sense of place and and often suggest something more than physical reality.
